Present
Using methods and exercises drawn from the theater, we work on developing body language in the classroom: After training in self-perception and perception of others, as well as in focused observation and awareness of body language, conscious body language is developed through acting exercises, role-playing, and short improvisations. The goal of the seminar is to expand participants’ individual range of nonverbal expression and improve their stage presence, enabling them to deliver their own presentations or lectures in seminars and lecture halls in a convincing, authentic, and effective manner.
Objectives:
Participants
- will master techniques and exercises to prepare physically, vocally, and mentally for a presentation,
- be able to recognize, compare, and evaluate the impact of nonverbal messages,
- will be able to consciously select and use nonverbal communication tools,
- be able to use stage presence in seminar rooms and lecture halls to support the material being presented.
