The ZHD collaborates with other institutions specializing in higher education pedagogy in Lower Saxony and beyond.

Together with all Lower Saxony projects funded by the Quality Pact for Teaching, the ZHD is actively involved in the “Quality Initiative for Teaching in Lower Saxony (QLiN)” network. In this context, a position paper on “Good Teaching” was developed, the findings of which can be found in the “Toolkit for Good Teaching.”

Measures aimed at improving the quality of teaching and learning conditions are shared by the initiative team of the “Quality Initiative for Teaching in Lower Saxony” through workshops at institutions in Lower Saxony with similar objectives.

As part of the collaboration with the Center for University Didactics at Georg-August University of Göttingen, regular coordination takes place regarding the university didactics certificate program and the open workshop program. Faculty members at Clausthal University of Technology are invited to take advantage of the offerings from the Center for University Didactics in Göttingen.

The ZHD also works closely with the Center for Successful Teaching and Learning (ZeLL) at Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences.

In addition, the ZHD is present at the most important German conferences on higher education pedagogy, such as the dghd Annual Conference and the MINT Symposium.
