Multimedia Teaching Aids
Clickers, Stud.IP, Moodle, video recording services, and many other tools—what are they, and how can they support your teaching?
A distinctive feature of Clausthal University of Technology is the close collaboration between the Computer Center (RZ) and the Center for Higher Education and Learning (ZHD) in the area of digital and multimedia-supported teaching.
While the RZ provides a wide range of multimedia tools (such as lecture recordings, clicker systems, and other digital services), the ZHD offers educational guidance and consultation on their effective use. This partnership helps instructors create genuine added value for student learning through the purposeful integration of digital tools into course design.
In Stud.IP, you will find a sample course that demonstrates the student perspective of various plugins and learning tools. The course is called "Model Course: Teaching Support SKILL".
On the Computer Center (RZ) website, you will find extensive information about multimedia services and digital tools available for your courses. The ZHD will be pleased to advise you on how to use these resources effectively in your teaching.
Throughout the semester, the eCULT project offers webinars approximately every two weeks on topics related to digitally supported teaching and learning. These webinars are online training sessions that can be attended live through a web browser. Participation is free of charge and does not require prior registration.
