  • Trained as a bank clerk; studied law at the Universities of Regensburg and Lausanne (Switzerland); also studied business administration at the Fernuniversität Hagen; completed an elective rotation as part of his legal clerkship at Chung-Ang University in Seoul (South Korea). Research assistant to Prof. Dr. Dieter Henrich (Chair of Private International Law and Comparative Law, University of Regensburg)
  • Freelance lecturer and trainer since 1993; practicing attorney from 1999 to 2011, specializing in labor law and IT law; also a mediator since 1999, specializing in business mediation
  • Since 2011, Professor of Private Commercial Law with a focus on labor law at the East Bavarian Technical University of Regensburg, Faculty of Business Administration
  • Areas of focus: Legal foundations for teaching, particularly copyright law and examination law, as well as public service law
